POETIC BEAUTY
Walking down a path
of snow mixed with ice,
pinecones and rocks
challenging me to stay upright.
My eyes took in so many sites,
skipping from one beauty to the next,
mixing colors in my head,
compositions abound.
Snow framing evergreens,
light reflecting on the ice,
giving glow and interest.
Pictures taken attempting to catch up
to the setting sun.
The last glimpse of warmth and goodness
revealing light and shadows,
snow shades turning blue,
matching the sky above.
Oh, the wonder of all this beauty
colliding in nature
erupting into song and
artwork in my mind.
Laughter emerges from my lips
in response to
God‘s creative artwork,
the Master Artist gave me
painting lessons!
"Let the heavens be glad, and the earth rejoice!
Let the trees of the forest sing for joy; they
for he is coming! "
psalm 96:11 - 13
I love this one - I can feel the crisp, cold air and hear the snow crunching 💙 (Jen D)
I love how you always “pay attention” . Because you pay attention, you have a great story to tell and painting to paint! And we are the great full recipients😄
Letting Leigh go for a walk in the woods brings delight to all of us!
